Privacy notice
Developer note: review this notice whenever accounts, analytics, subscriptions, contact forms, advertising providers or other personal-data processing are added or changed.

Information processed when you play
When you ask for a solution, your six selected numbers and target are sent to the SumGoal solver API. SumGoal does not store those puzzle requests in an application account or gameplay database.
Cloudflare provides the website, API and security services and may process normal technical request information such as IP address, browser or user-agent information, request timing and security signals in order to deliver and protect the service.
Session scores are kept only in page memory and reset when the page is reloaded or closed. SumGoal does not currently create a persistent gameplay profile.
If you contact us
If you email SumGoal, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include in the message. We use it to respond to you, deal with the matter you raised, maintain appropriate business records and protect our legal rights. Routine correspondence is deleted when it is no longer reasonably needed, unless it must be retained for legal, accounting, security or dispute-resolution reasons.
Advertising
SumGoal uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may process information about your device or visit to deliver and measure advertising. Where consent is required, a Google-certified consent platform is used to collect and manage that choice before relevant optional advertising storage or processing is enabled.

Why we process information
Technical information needed to operate and secure SumGoal is processed for the legitimate interests of providing a reliable service and preventing abuse. Correspondence is processed so that we can respond to requests and manage the business. Where consent is required for optional advertising or similar technologies, consent is the relevant basis for that activity.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides website delivery, Worker compute, DNS and security services. Its services may involve processing information outside the UK using legally recognised transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
Google provides AdSense advertising and associated consent-management services when advertising is active. Google and its partners may also process information outside the UK using applicable transfer mechanisms and safeguards.
SumGoal does not sell your personal information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law gives you rights including access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Contact privacy@sumgoal.com if you want to exercise a right.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
